by Alexandra B. on Went on a Tuesday night thinking it will be a no fuss night. What a disaster. Promoters only let in people they knew, and had the worst attitude ever. What was more puzzling to me was the crowd. I expected refined young adults but instead the place was crawling with sketchy men and barely 18 yrs old girls shrieking at the top of their lungs. After 30 min, the bouncer was kind enough to tell me not to bother waiting anymore (after he consulted with the promoter). Several people who were admitted left saying that they were not having a good time. I can't comment on that since I never got in. My advise to you would be to stay away from this place!
by Roger Reindeau on I love front page news. The only downside is the lack of parking. The people at Front Page News are the pretty people, with lots of zest. I enjoy coming here. The food, it's pretty good. They have a great booze selection. I give it four stars!
by Horace Bertotti on I am a fan of Blake's. They have good food (for a bar), the drinks are great. and there's never a cover. There's 2 levels at Blake's. The downstairs is usually always crowed and that's where the drag show is. But, upstairs you can usually find a place to stand around or might could even grab a table. I would recommend you checking out Blake's if you are in the area.
