Club 9 seems to have faded into the background. I was just here Wednesday and stayed till 11:45 (before my head was pounding from the awful music) and left. There were hardly any people here and the music was defiantly not a good choice. The club has a very nice interior with nice seating, a nice bar, pool table, darts, decent sized dance floor and platforms, and very clean bathrooms (so good for a nightclub). The staff is friendly and there is a nice coat check, however there just doesn't seem to be very much of a crowd or good music. I would hope this would change =\

Meh, I have experienced better. I admit, the go-go dancers are, well, often really hot. But, it feels like Rage or something. I am not hip on paying $10 for a vodka cocktail, or waiting for the bartender to finish talking with his other bartender pals while I wait. ...and wait. I can walk down to Trunks or the Mother Lode and get a better cocktail for less, and with a genuine smile no less! I like the upstairs, a little. It is nice to have a place to sit, and Mickey's seems to have placed chairs throughout the bar for just this. But, in the end, there is really nothing special that makes this place stand out from any other West Hollywood gay friendly bar. I like a lot of the music and the DJ does appear to pay attention to the crowd, which is nice. Oddly, I have been on the dance floor and noticed that there were more security people than patrons on the floor? How odd is that? I like the Two-Star saying, "Meh, I've experienced better." I think that captures the place perfectly. Before the fire I remember that Mickey's had its own personality and it set itself apart from the other places. Now, it is just another WeHo hangout. Nothing special, but again, the dancers are worth throwing a few bucks, if you get any change back from your cocktail purchases...
