I came here last week on a Friday, and all I can say is that I was reliving my Bar 210 experience (read my review to get the full picture). I was on the guest list, but was told to wait for like forever. It was understandable though because I ended up seeing my brother at the exact same place, and me being a good sister and all tried to get him and his friends in with me at the same time. Now, I understand it might be a little difficult to get in a girl with 4 guys, but c'mon. Seriously. This isn't Vegas. You're a rinky dinky club in Hollywood where people think that they're all somebodies with other somebodies surrounding them. I'm not sure how the crowd is on other nights, but this night, the crowd consisted mostly of African Americans with a few Asians...just throwing this out there because I myself generally like to know the demographics of a place before I go. The only thing I give credit for is the music. Now here's a place that can actually get down. I'm tired of listening to Taio Cruz "Break Your Heart" and whatever else that they've got goin on these days. Now, Young Jeezy? Whoooo that's what I'm talkin' about. Real music forizzzooo. Can't tell you how much the drinks are b/c I wasn't buying any :) Bottom line: if you're a girl, no problem. If you're a guy, then you better know the bouncer or someone who works there b/c you're gonna be standing outside for a minute. PS: they're bathrooms are tiny. Only three stalls in the girls bathroom so be prepared to wait.

I came here recently for a Royksopp concert. Although I prefer Terminal 5 for these size shows, I thought this venue was not too bad. I'm not sure it deserves all the vitriol of these reviews. Then again I haven't come here on the weekends!! I like that it's a conveniently located, cavernous, huge space. The acoustics are pretty good, the bars are really big, the bathroom attendant was really nice, and even though it was crowded I didn't feel crushed. I was annoyed at how long the coat check line was - ugh!

i could see how the velvet ropes are a tad bit excessive, but whatever, i had no problems getting in. Didn't even venture downstairs, upstairs had great music, honestly. My one criticism would be for the dj to just let the song play for more than oh, 1 minute? I loved the asthetics of the place with the chandeliers and the dark colors. A fun place to go with a group if you're not trying to take yourself too seriously.
