by niero g. on On a Thursday night, this is the quintessential 80's dive bar experience, hands down. Name it, you get it. Double dance floors, cheap cover, responsive DJ's, cheap drinks, and a thematic crowd deeply into the grooves. Came here with a group of friends and we were surprised that after the bar closed at 2am the grooves were still going strong. What a party! I'd come here daily if it were close to my house. Loved it!!!
by Lisa X. on I don't know if it's because of the crowd, wanna-be posh vibes this place exudes, or maybe I was the problem, but it wasn't really for me. I fortunately got there before the $10 cover was enforced. The rooftop view was cool, but the experience was masked in a thick veil of cigarette smoke. It was a bit crowded and we couldn't find any seating for a while. I felt like I was in a TV show because I don't think I've seen so many bros in my life. The music was good downstairs and there was ample seating. I actually felt like dancing for once. Then again, I wanted to spare everyone the night terror I call my dancing. I wouldn't mind giving this place another shot on a different night.
