by Julia G. on I feel like this is one of those spots that unless you live nearby or know somebody who lives nearby, it would fly under your radar. I for one, had no idea that it existed until I was clued in about their great happy hour deals. Thursday nights are $5 thin crust pizzas and $3 draft beers. The pizzas aren't just run-of-the-mill either, they're special with things like butternut squash, sage and bacon. That's what I ordered and it was surprisingly good! The only annoying part of the experience was that on their website they advertise $3 well cocktails on Thursday's but at the bar that promotion was nowhere to be seen. Bummer. Oh yah, and the DJ was...eh... boring.

We've been wanting to go to a place with live music and great food.I Rateclubed this place before going to this place and had great ratings. We made reservations a week before. When we got to the place, we almost got lost because the spot was in between other stores. We finally found it but parking was horrible. We went around the block and a couple of streets down looking for a spot. We ended up parking a block away and walked to the restaurant. As we walked in the restaurant, we were automatically greeted. because we had reservations, the wait was not long. We got immediate seatings and our server was at our table. The menu looked great. It didnt have pictures but with the little description below, it is served with how it was written. We ordered fried sweet potato for our appetizers and man do those hit the spot. We also ordered the scallops (which were mouthwatering), the grilled steak, and pork loin. The food was amazing. It was 10pm, and the band began to play. The host and server kept checkin up on us to see how we're doing. Great people with a great atmosphere. The crowd was a little older than us, but we blended well. Dress code is not enforced but it's a great place to go on dates. Great music and great food! It was my first time listening to a live jazz band, so this made my experience great! two thumbs up !
