$5.00 cover on thursdays with $1.00 pitchers and a Sexy Bull riding contest on the resident mechanical bull "Tequilla".
$8.00 cover on friday and saturday with $1.00 domestic and $2.00 import.
Defentantly the place to be on the weekends.
by Bobby P. on It's an odd place, equal parts percocet haze and coke-shake buzz; The doorman is an ex-bodybuilder and Physical Science teacher, who pauses for a moment and thinks that yes, maybe he remembers you passing CD-R's back and forth your freshman year of high school, updating track-lists or writing dirty words in the 3rd edition textbooks, but no, you're just another drunk asshole. Some old brothers sit off to the left of the bar; a couple thicknecked paesans after that; the crusty bike messengers off to the right, standing; JR castoffs in the back, watching the dancer on the lonely stripper pole, more an act of respectful silence for performance art than an erotic service. You will pay for an overpriced Yuengling without flinching, and speak to a pale dancer about David Lynch movies for a minute, wonder where the staircase leads, lean against a friend to dig your cell phone out of your pocket, text a girl you used to know, and step out side for a minute, never to return.
by Elmer Wolfer on If you wanna learn how to be a woman, come to Harry Denton's Starlight Room and watch the 'ladies' strut their stuff at 'Sunday's a Drag' Brunch. This place is incredibly fun and did I mention something about ladies? I sure did! The drag show is just filled with shiny earrings, big necklaces, huge curls, tons of make-up, beautiful costumes, and some of the most gorgeous, fierce (yes, I used that word - shush!) drag queens around. The food is very good too. Eggs Benedict, an omelet station, fresh fruit, salad, french toast, and everything that's good and bad if not in moderation! It is worth the money if you are willing to spend it on someone special. You need to take a special person for sure and someone who will enjoy it and, um, isn't scared of big, TALL, beautiful 'women'. Awesomeness, for sure!
