by Nish N. on I like my Southern hospitality with some modern twists, so South City Kitchen met my need for social dining just right. ' We really didn't have a disappointing dish but some highlights were definitely the fried chicken (perhaps some of the best I've ever had!), the fried green tomatoes, the pork chop and the chicken and dumplings. And with a well thought out wine list, we found a fantastic Willamette pinot noir to complement everything. Our server was super attentive and downright friendly, and if I had to find fault with anything, it's that you're going to leave overstuffed and sluggish... but perhaps nothing that a nice walk in the cool Atlanta night air couldn't alleviate.
