by Luciano G. on Went to the new location and I really like the "industrial" look. It has a fun and casual atmosphere. We ordered oysters as appetizers but they were kinda small and not very tasty at all (well, not a big fan of oysters here anyway). I had the "Big Tuna" and it was delicious. My friends ate Shrimp and Scallops and he like it a lot. Our waiter was cool and beer was cold. Cool place to visit.
by Erin Leigh M. on 2.75 stars, here's why: Pro: My buddy's band always plays there and they have pretty good sound, compared to all the other crappy venues I go to see local music at (not that I ever really do, but if i do, most are pretty crappy). Consssssssssss: I got kicked out of a GWAR show here a year ago. How does one get kicked out of a GWAR show? By GWAR, I do mean... RHN-DHN-DHN-DHN-DHN-EAT-PISS-DRINK-SHIT-GWAR! GWAR is my secret guilty pleasure, well, I guess not so much "secret" anymore. I love GWAR! God, just thinking about moshing makes my heart race. Anyway, I had a couple drinks and I was getting thrown around pretty hard. I was trying to hold on to my dear, sweet, thin, blonde friend and simultaneously try to make sure that I didn't punch my friend Scott in the face by mistake... Song was over, a ginormous George Bush thing came onto stage and GWAR cut it's head off and spurted blood all over me and I loved every second... So I cut out the back door while my friend was having a smoke.... I was excited. I was doing my best "OMG, DID YOU SEE ME I WAS LIKE *JUMP-MOSH-IMITATION*, IT WAS AWESOME! WOOOOOOOO!" and she was like "OMG, I KNOW I THINK I ALMOST BROKE SOMEONES TOOTH WITH MY HAND!"... Then we tried to go back inside.... *crickets* Bouncer: "Ummm, why don't you just have a seat and relax a little" ME: "HUH!? WHAT?!" (totally deaf) Bouncer: "I think you need to calm down" Me: "but it's a GWAR SHOW, I am just stoked, what do you mean CALM DOWN!" Bouncer: "just have a seat" me: *stunned* 5 minutes of stunned-ness later... me to friend: WTF. I AM FUCKING OUT OF HERE. LETS GO! me to bouncer: FUCK YOU DNA BOUNCER GUY! *Finger thrown over my head behind me, stomp off down the street to my car* me to friend, sitting in car: "i can't believe we got kicked out of the GWAR show on the second song!!! THAT WAS AWESOME!" friend to me: "well, we didn't really get kicked out. you just got pissed and left, as per." me to friend: "i know, but it was AWESOME" So, i didn't really get kicked out, so much as I got pissed and left, but DNA can really kiss my ass.
