by heather h. on I came here with my roommates on one of their Thursday ladies nights and we had a pretty good time. Drinks were free, and the bartenders were really attentive and kept on filling our drinks up, and at some point the manager (I think?) gave us shots of patron. I don't remember much after that, BUT the music was good and there was a lot of stuff going on- pool, bowling, dancing. It's busier here than other places in queens and it's definitely a lot nicer and huge. I would definitely come back here with my bitches, especially if they keep giving out free alcohol.

I've been here many times and have to say it's a great venue for watching a show (I would never come when this place turns into a "nightclub" so my review is for shows only). Sure the space is small, sure the lines for drinks get somewhat crowded - YOU'RE AT A CONCERT people, what do you want - table service and a valet to park your car? Jesus, get off it. If you want that kinda concert experience, pay $500 for Pearl Jam tickets at MSG and call your limo driver. You go to places like this to see popular bands that don't fillor want to play arenas. The joy is to get to see someone like Morcheeba (whom I saw last night) rock for 90 mins and engage the crowd. The new side bar was a delight and really, for a sold out show, the pushing and shoving wasn't that bad. Aside from the frat boys mingling and talking during many-a-song, I'd say this show was awesome. This place and the Bowery are two of my favorite spots to catch a show.
