This review is strictly for the night lounge. Upon arriving on a Saturday night, I saw a long line so naturally, as a female, I walked to the front with a girlfriend and thought we could get in since we were on the guest list sans the wait. They told us to wait in line for people on the guest list which was a total bummer. The hostess looked stressed and flustered. Their system is really odd I don't quite get it. We were escorted upstairs and the club was packed. It was really hot almost sweltering. I was wearing a dress and still sweating profusely. Yuck! I noticed there were a lot of guys which isn't necessarily a bad thing but they were not attractive at all. A little eye candy would've been nice but it was just a big turn off! The music was top 40 and some hip hop throwbacks but nothing out of the ordinary. Oh yeah not to mention a fight broke out later with a group of hostile asians and I had a cocktail spill all over my dress. I gear away from the drama and frumpiness so yeah I'll never go back here.

Whether you arrive alone late and sit at the bar or make reservations ahead of time for a group of 4 or 6 the people at the Blue Note will treat you right and you will enjoy yourself with some wonderfully sounding music, some drinks and even some food if you wish. Decent wine list to complement the more than decent list of musicians who frequent the stage here.

Went there last night (Saturday) for one of my buddy's birthday. The bouncers were surprisingly cool. They weren't douchebags who asshole tax and that's a surprise being at a club in West Hollywood. Although after 10 pm there's a $10 cover which is pretty lame. That's Hollywood for you!! The setup is pretty much like Dave N Busters just with a dance floor, which is kind of weird.. You have pool tables, a pinball, basketball toss, a ping pong table, a bar, and a DJ on one end. Then at the other end you have another DJ, the dance floor and a bar.. So you get different vibes from both rooms... The songs they play there is top 40 (which I'm not really fond off - if I want to hear the radio I'll just turn it on). Most of the guys there were douchebags with their; long sleeve shirts that has some sort of tacky stitched design. And what's up with unbuttoning all but one button?? Man, might as well go for gold unbutton all of it, you dbag! The girls were typical TRL chicks, clones of Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and Lesbo Lohan... In the entire club I only spotted 3 chicks that stood out from the rest. 2 of the 3 had a man and the other one I couldn't find again... Maybe she was at the ping pong table.... Or maybe she left early, like I did. I was drinking Guinness the whole night, that was $7 a glass, so mix drinks must be around $10+. Busby's is pretty lame, nothing new. I've been to parties like this when I was 18, so, why would I want to go back???
