by Kay M. on I heard this place was soooo hard to get into....that it was like Vegas; if you don't look hot, you get turned away. Seriously? Wow! Not that I was on the prowl but the people there were not what I expected at all, at least not from what I had been told. Turned away if you're not hot? Um, that would mean the entire place practically? The crowd was ok, a little on the snooty side, but really had NO reason to be...so if this is your favorite place, sorry, that would probably be you I'm talking about. My girls and I were there for my bacherlorette party and had these cute slightly enlarged rings on that shined to a minimum. It was nothing obnoxious but the so called high-end crowd was not too keen on the fun we were trying to have, asking us to turn our rings off. Sorry if the lights made you uncomfortable dude. We know you look your best in the DARK! The music was bunk, at first. I expected this though b/c I was told that Saturday played a good amount of techno. It wasn't the techno that turned me off, it was the fact that they mixed in too many different kinds of music. I mean if you're going to do 8o's and techno, stick to a flock of songs at one time, then change it up. Going back and forth between New Order and Guns and Roses, and then OMD and Van Halen was not hot. It was only after midnight that they started to play hip hop. The bouncers at the front were nice I must say, security was not harsh like at most clubs. They ask you nicely to move along and don't shine those gawdy flashlights in your face. The bouncers were well dressed and for the most part blended in well with the crowd with their headset pieces tucked inside the back of their suits. Didn't have drinks at the bar so I can't comment on the costs or whether they were watered down or not; we had bottle service and our server was very nice. This place gets three stars b/c although my girls and I had a great time with our own clan, I'm knocking off two stars b/c the music was bunk (at first) and the crowd was too snooty....at least for my taste.

I made a divorce party and had a great time. they gave my group the back area with its own bar. plus the bartender gave my friends like 8 shots on the house. really like the place and atmosphere but the only thing is that there is a jukebox where you have to put in money to play songs vs DJ. but otherwise a must stop by!
