Holy Hilarity Batman! The World Famous Hollywood Improv is pretty much the raddest place on Earth. On a TUEADAY night, I saw not only Jeff Ross and Nick Swardson, but DANIEL TOSH! All for one stellar admission fee (that can be drastically reduced if you sign up for email blasts and follow them on Facebook and Twitter). Parking is simple (which we ALL know is a godsend in this town)...$6 valet, right in front. Metered street parking is available for the lucky but all the surrounding neighborhoods are PERMIT ONLY so just valet. Parking for The Comedy Store and Laugh Factory makes me want to move to Wisconsin...$TWENTY. Sunset Blvd man, meh. 2 Item Minimum is STANDARD PROCEDURE NATIONWIDE for Comedy Clubs - if you don't know that, you live in a hole and should probably stay there. If you can't afford 2 drinks, or coffee and dessert, or some gosh darn spinach dip (yum!), then stay home, no one wants to meet you anyway. Full menu and bar available in the showroom; however, if you eat dinner before the show in the seperate dining room, you receive preferential seating in the showroom, no stress, and are exempt from the 2 item minimum (though you are welcome to continue drinking!). Service fees are a part of life, deal. The service was efficient and friendly without being distracting. They all seemed to love their job, which is always appealing, a la Trader Joes :) Even if you don't recognize the comics on the line up, GO! These will be the next Comedy Central staples and movie stars....up and coming! Be a part of history :) You can also pre-book a group (birthday party, anniversary, Memorial, company event, corporate holiday party, etc...), which makes it very VIP and stress-free.... Overall, j'adore. Happy Living!

I've only been here to see Jurassic 5, but it was awesome and small enough to be close, but big enough to not be claustrophobic if you don't want to be. I don't have a clue what it's like on a club night, but I will be back to see more shows.
