So one of my co-workers who shall remain nameless....but he know who he is invited my friend and I to go check this place out because he said they had great music and good drinks. So we get there and see absolutely no one there....and this is a fri or sat night mind you and its probably around 1030 11 o'clock when we get there. So my friend and I are debating whether or not we should even go into this place because it looks blah! So I ask the doorman how much is cover and he tells me $10 so my friend and I kinda look at each other are like you know what we'll pass....the doorman then says look if you wanna check it out Ill give you my last 2 free cover tickets....so we're like "free" lets go check this place out! We walk in to meet with my friends and there is NO ONE HERE!! its almost 11 o'clock and there is NO ONE HERE!! There isnt even any music playing!! WTF! So my friend convinces us to stick around and have a drink and we do talk about overpriced!! and not even very good drinks...so suffice it to say we have never been back there since this night and never will.

I had my doubts upon entering between the outdoor-purple walls , however they were all washed away over the course of my night here. This is one of the most unique decors I've ever seen in a restaurant. They did an extremely good job in designing this space - from tiny personal candles at the sit/eating bar, to dangling vertical light bulbs (something you have to see for yourself) throughout the restaurant). The food was nothing short of awesome. Everyone in my party ordered fish, but man I saw so many orders of that Steak Frite dish coming from the kitchen, I was tempted to get an additional order of that. I myself got the halibut and it was prepared excellently on top of the most delicious risotto I've ever had. My mom got Salmon wrapped in an unusual dough (looks like shredded wheat, but texture is like Phyllo), and that was the most average of the bunch. The shining star was the Tuna Steak. My brother ordered it rare, marinated in Worcestershire sauce atop roasted potatoes and broccoli. It was incredible! Prepared perfectly. I would say the dessert here was just average although my brother really loved the creme brule. Make this a destination for the next nice occasion you have planned, the atmosphere alone will impress your party.

My goodness!... could it be?... yes!! This is the worst club in San Francisco. Oh my f&$%ing god. Where do I begin? Bouncers=assholes. Decor=absolute trash (private booths with leopard print shag curtains and big, hideous, gaudy, gold mirrors for the Very Insufferable People). Clientele=surf bros/beach hoes OR fratbois/sorority sluts OR people I never thought I'd have the misfortune of crossing paths with after college. Drinks=who cares how it tastes when you're paying $11 a drink? It tastes like pain. Nevermind. This is too stressful. I need to stop reliving my Roe night right now. On a scale of 1 to a million you get zero. **oh, i guess you can't rate something with zero stars. One very small, dim, star then if I must.
