by hellokittynme .. on Environment: hot and humid door man: you suck! yeah i stood behind you listening to you talk about how you turned people away cuz they didn't want to pay. you were laughing about them as if it made you feel high and mighty. im not sure what to make of you, newbie to the job? unprofessional? just a straight up dirt bag? I'm going to check off all the boxes because you made me feel like this place sucks. attitude is everything. bar service: fairly speedy and pretty huge shots parking situation: $5.00 in the front for valet. if you try to self park in the back the fee is $10??? looks like someone is trying to make some money on the side.
by Meg B. on Another great Starr restuarant experience for me. Morimoto exceeded my expectations. Our server was great. He was so knowlegdeble of the menu and provided very prompt service. My boyfriend got the Chefs tasting. He loved it. I sampled just about everything that came with it and I was quite impressed as well(even tried the caviar and liked it!). I went with the rock shrimp temptura ( yum yum yum!) and the monk fish which cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The drinks were on par with the other Steven Starr drinks as well. I'm going next Saturday for the 2nd time in a year and anticipate my experience will be just as good! 4/9/08- So I returned for my second time on Saturday and it did not dissapoint! I went with the ny york strip and it was cooked perfectly, filled with flavor and came with amazing tempura battered veggies with a side of that great mustard that seems to be a trend at Steven Starr restuarants! Oh, and this time around, we waiting in the little lounge area they have upstairs- quaint and intimate- not really a lot of room but a perfect place to grab a drink with a date before dinner
