Went here for a friend's birthday party, and quickly regretted it. The crowd is very odd - a peculiar mix between luxury hotel cougars and bridge-and-tunnel wannabes. Everyone had an air of entitlement, without the goods to back it up. The women weren't very attractive (though most were parading around in hoochie dresses like they had just won a beauty pageant), and the guys were just trying too hard (there was this one guy with a Michael Jackson jacket from Thriller, a hipster hat, AND suspenders... dude? how many props do you need?). Even the DJ was pretty horrible (really? Miley Cyrus on a Saturday night at an "upscale" club? Go grab your headphones, mixer, and laptop... you're fired). As a kicker, you'll be pleased to know that the list is incredibly strict... even for friends of the various promoters. The ratios need to be in order (although there were quite of few less attractive women in the crowd - I guess, to the management, they count, even if they are ugly). My friend's other friends weren't admitted and he spent most of his birthday with a handful of people that were fortunate enough to get in, and get a precious stamp. I'll save you the trouble. Don't go, don't waste your time and money (I didn't even write about the expensive, weak drinks).

My friend and I met Johnny Moseley here once but then again it was the Icer Air Esurance afterparty so bumping into him here wasn't that big of a surprise. He was a douche, 'nuff said. Onto Temple, HUGE HUGE place but it still gets packed. Both the top floor, bottom floor, every room. The bottom area is really dark though and I found myself reaching blindly for my friends as guides while I waited for my eyes to adjust. The spacious layout, lighting and decor is as close as it comes to Vegas in San Francisco. I can't say much about how easy it is to get in because I was on the guestlist the past times. This is definitely a club in every sense of the word, people are dressed up and there's a variety of music for the diverse crowd. They need to get their air conditioning checked out though, it can be really cold one night and disgustingly humid the next.
