by Vanessa M. on I will def be coming back here!!! Being from the VA/DC area, I love a good hip hop spot where I can dance and be around a good crowd. The music here was on point alll night!! Granted the place is a little crowded esp bc everyone is dancing and not standing against the wall like at clubs on west side but its still a good time. Highly recommend this place if you want good music that is old school hip hop/reggae/ top 40! Plus the cover is only $5 and the bouncers are mad cool!
by Eva V. on Let me be the first to recognize the similarities between my most recent reviews. In a word: gay. My friend Laura is entirely responsible for this, as she chose Eleven as a venue for her 24th birthday celebration. Last night was "Gay Middle Eastern" night, and it promised to be flashy if nothing else. Waited in line outside the club a little longer than I would have liked, but only because Janice Dickinson was on the patio causing a ruckus and the bouncers were dealing with her instead of checking our IDs. This didn't bother me too much since I know if I were in their situation, I'd definitely want to keep my eye on Janice because girl is crazy. Once inside there was an $8 cover, but it's a different kind of experience when you pay $8 as you walk into a club with several buff men in bun-huggers thrusting their junk in your direction. The difference is you know what you're paying for. Drinks are good and well mixed. The bartenders were nice and very prompt. The club itself has a slightly more upscale vibe than some of the clubs in WeHo, and Thursday nights include Middle Eastern-themed decor and hookah outside. The bathrooms are also great and complete with staff who hand you towels to dry your hands and have carts full of various amenities. If you choose to go on Thursdays, know that it is a complete sausage fest. I would estimate that for every 30 guys there's 1 girl. If you're a gay dude, this is probably fabulous odds, but for lesbians out there, come with your girls or take the party somewhere else. So good service, good drinks, go-go dancers (if that's your thing), and cool ambiance. You could do a lot worse!
