by Danny D. on Alright sucka haters! You got to admire a club like Vanguard! First of all, It was the first club I partied at in LA. I am definitely praising this club due to bias opinion (haha). If you are into Electronic DANCE music, then how can you not love Vanguard? Because of Vanguard, Top ranked DJ's gets to perform in front of a large group of music lovers without the feeling of a "rave". The sound system of vanguard are function ones! (Don't know what it is? You should def research that). The securities are down as hell. If you show some respect, you will get the same treatment back. Don't we all learn that in 1st grade? The dance floor is wide, and if you look carefully, you can see foot marks on the floor (love them shufflers). I was fortunate to check out the upstairs VIP room while it was being renovated. You will see what I see in the near future. We (6AM Disturbance) had the honor to host the large patio outside! Rocked the place! And will be back again in the summer! by Elissa D. on So far the most enjoyable concert experience I've had in San Francisco. Here's a tip, get there early and score a table upstairs. Great view, good sound and lots of room to spread out and enjoy while grooving to the tunes. How nice to be able to hold your spot without getting elbowed, groped or having to glue yourself to the floor. Good crowd, friendly staff and very decent prices on the beer/drinks/food. I had a burger, not great but good enough for what it was. This place really is like a smaller, more elegant Fillmore. Street parking was abundant, and there was also a garage about one block up. Totally stress-free, no hassle experience. Oh! And the concert was great. Five stars for Josh Rouse as well!
