by jj p. on Although the design of this place is great, and the food is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre. I can't recommend this place, because a busboy tried to steal my iphone!!!! After dinner with a few friends during which I used my iphone to show everyone directions to the Continental mid-town, where we were heading for a night cap, we headed out to pick up our cars from the valet. At that time, I noticed that I had left my phone on the table and went back to retrieve it. When I went back to the table, which was still being cleared of dishes, the phone was gone. I asked whether anyone, the waitress or the bus folks had seen it. and No one had. Then I asked about it from the hostess, who also indicated that no one had turned it in and then asked me to 'step aside because she had a party to seat.' So I borrowed my buds phone to call ATT and cancel my service, and while I'm on the phone with ATT customer service, the bus boy comes out with my phone and says that it 'turned up' in the back. The only reason I got my phone back was because I had the passcode feature activated, which prevents anyone from using it until you enter a passcode. Otherwise, my phone would have been gone. it was really disappointing to me that someone would take something like that, and then, when you found out you couldn't use it, it suddently turns up. Ladies and gentleman---watch your phones, purses, and wallets. Bad karma staff here!
