by Maggie K. on Why must I wait two more years to be 21? I went here on Friday when the club is 18 and over. I don't like the scene because you have so many random people here, and if my memory serves me correct there were way more guys (but I can't complain). I like this place a lot because of the inside architecture and decor. It has beautiful lighting, and isn't overbearingly dark like other clubs. It's like a mini palace with beautiful tapestry, a baroque looking bar area, and different levels with various places to dance. If you think you can get a 21 year old to buy you a drink be careful not to get caught. The security there are like hawks! They WILL find you! The music is all over the place in a good sense. House, trance, hip hop, and more. Oh and Thursday nights is Tiger Heat, and also 18 and over and it's gay night too. I made the mistake of going to this club with potential with some guy friends, and they totally ruin your game. Just sayin...Stick to partying with your girls!
by Alex L. on I've been here once, and it was a while back, but let me tell you, this place was awful. We went here at the end of our night around 1:30, get carded at the door and the idiot bouncer takes my ID. It was my 23rd birthday, are you serious? My ID was from Texas and he just assumed it was a fake. I told him that it was illegal for him to take my personal property when in fact the identification is me and real (obviously something his boss never told him). After a 5 minute argument and him threatening to kick me out, I got the police on the phone and I guess that actually spooked him because he gave me my ID back and let me in. Food was not good, even in my drunken stupor. So all in all, kind of crappy way to end my 23rd birthday.
by Simon Montalvan on Thursday nights - 1984. Arriving a little too early, the place was empty! My friend freaked out and could only hope for more people to arrive. And if you ask, they shall come, and they did. Cover charge $6. No dress code. (Y'all know I hate them dress codes.) Two dance floors. Random 80s music all night long! To start, we sat around and people watched until I heard some good music coming from the back. Was thoroughly surprised with the amount of drunk girls at this place. It's barely 11 and there are some very toasted ladies all around. The place was jumping in the back, and then we decided to move to the front dance floor when we heard some good music coming from there. Spent the rest of the evening dancing and singing my heart out to my fave 80s. They played a few great songs in a row, had everyone singing and dancing and all riled up. And then some slower, not so pumped up songs came on and the jumping lessened. It got crowded in there quick and with drunk girls all around, you get a lot more bumping into. I spent most of the night dancing near the front entrance because there was a fan and a bit more room. However, the smell of cigarettes from outside lingered all around and I just couldn't get rid of it. Overall, a pretty cool place to kick it at. It's my first time going there. I think if I did the 80s thing again, I would try to go in costume! Bust out with some serious Cyndi Lauper/Madonna stuff going on! Yeah! That would definitely make it that much more fun!
