by Linda n. on Oh what happened to you 181? My girlfriend holly and I use to always come party at this club. But that was over 2 years. This place use to be upscale. They had a strict dress code, great staff, great decor but now it's the complete opposite. They let anyone in! It's hella DARK in there. Majority of the people who party here are ghetto ass black guys and girls. The bathroom is revolting and unsanitary. They don't have ladies working in the bathroom anymore. (there use to be a lady who pumped your soap for you.) the faucet was broken and the toliet didn't have a seat. It makes me so sad thinking about how shitty this place has become. I use to enjoy it so much. I don't know what had happened but I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER come back. EVER!
by Sarah C. on I have never been to Nikki Beach by myself, for a regular night out. It's not generally a place I would go to with friends, but I have been there several times in the past two years. In fact, every 8 weeks or so, I host a Hedge Fund Happy Hour there. The location is ideal for those of us who are hedgies working in midtown. The staff has always been awesome and have never (not once) turned us down to host a happy hour. I call a couple of weeks in advance to reserve the space and I call again on the day of an event to let them know how many to expect, and whether we are 30 people or 130 people, the service has always been incredible! Last week, I hosted my largest happy hour to date, with a total of 150 guests passing through throughout the evening. The music was awesome, the space was perfect, the service staff was as incredible as usual and my industry friends stayed and hung out for nearly 4 hours. It was a smashing success for a couple of reasons, but what I appreciate is that when I call for the space, they know what I need and they never fail to deliver. I don't have to work at it, at all - which means I can have a great time hanging out too! So, though I don't know what they are like on normal evenings, if you ever need to host a group, the space is great and though it's in midtown, they are a fantastic choice. S~
