When we bought the tickets, we opted for the dinner credit. I thought that credit was only for the main dining room. I didn't realize you could use the credit inside the music venue to buy drinks and snacks. Keep this in mind because dinner is on the expensive side. We ordered a poke trio. simple roll, kobe beef sushi and tempura. Everything tasted great, but with a couple of drinks/tea, the bill came up to $80ish. Not the price I expected to pay. So after dinner, we proceeded into the music venue to watch 90's r&b superstar Jon B. All I needed to hear was his 3-4 hits and I would've been good. He did do his well known songs, but in a medley form. I shouldn't complain; tickets were $20 and it was a good first time out at Yoshi's. Definitely gonna come back and check out other shows. Relaxed and chill vibe here.
by Kurt O. on My wife and I recently took a trip to NY for a long weekend. I've been a fan of Smoke for a long time, and I suggested that I'd like to check it out. She went on their website and saw their $29 pre-fix menu that looked great. Normally I wouldn't think that the food at a jazz club would be that great, but BOY WAS I WRONG. The food was excellent and the jazz was great. Great ambiance, killer food, great service, great value and amazing jazz, all in a small lounge setting. What more do you need!? Would definitely go back and will urge everyone I know to do the same. Edit: My wife is also gluten-intolerant and they were able to accomodate her with no problem whatsoever.
