by ellainne v. on I've been wanting to check this place out so my gf and I came on a Friday night when nothing big was going on (sometimes you just want to go to a club and not have to wait for an hour just to get inside because a supposedly celebrity plans to be there). The line wasn't very long and since my girlfriend hates lines, she talked w a promoter and let us walk in w/ any wait. Yay. The club itself is really nice, but not very big. There are huge booths at every wall and the dancefloor is small. The back of the club, which I thought was indoor was actually a covered outdoor area, hence the ashtrays and smokers. By the time we got home we wreaked of smoke. Drinks are pretty much the average price in LA, i bought 2 rounds (4 drinks) and looked at my receipts the next day totalling $60. Although I did have a good buzz so I guess it was ok....I had a blast. I'm a big old school, hip hop r&b chick and MyStudio basically played top 40 all night. Hey...you can't have everything, but at least it was fun.
by Yana K. on I really like this club, and it's not because two of my friends happen to be promoters. The layout is pretty cool, with three different room, each having its own ambience. There are places to tuck away into away from prying eyes, as well as a pretty cool, chill VIP room. The drinks are strong and the people are amazing. Definetly a club worth checking out as a night on the town.
