by Kevin M. on This place surprised and surpassed my expectations at (almost) every turn. Came here for a Friday night DJ concert. The size of the venue was perfectly small but still had plenty of space outside of the dance floor to cool off. Two (moderately priced) bars kept the lines down to a moderate level, and even the line for the bathrooms wasn't bad at all. The sound system was nuts. I heard Mighty has one of the top systems in the bay area, and I believe it. Everything sounded perfect. The only qualm I have to raise is their ticketing system is a mess. It takes forever to get through the line, it's poorly organized, and was the only less-than-stellar part of the experience. Once you bought a ticket you could not wait outside for friends, and there were no in-and-out priviliges so you just have to try to find friends once you are inside. That said, it was at most a minor annoyance in an overall outstanding night. Oh, and take note it is cash only! ATM is available inside for $3 service fee.
