The food was outstanding - the antelope tar tar just amazing, and huge in quantity. The prices, though, leave something to be desired. $30-40 for a plate of fish and rice is just not acceptable, no matter how tasty it is. I've been to restaurants that were more expensive, and you can tell it's worth it. ESSR, unfortunately, doesn't fall into that category. I guess in the end I agree with what everyone else has said; neat vibe, good food, good drinks, but the bill is about 50% too high. The owner must be pulling an absolute fortune.

by Anastacia Vitt on With the disappearance of most record stores on south st. REPO is left standing because of its awesome selection and friendly staff. If you are looking for new or used vinyl records of any type repo probably has it. Sign up for their email list and every week they have a new arrival email that makes me wish i had enough money to buy everything on it. Repo's best quality is its new selection which has pretty much any new record that is in and usually gets rare records in for a little bit until their limited run is done. The basement is pretty cool, however, like most posts make sure you have about 3 or 4 hours and can pick through 98% garbage to find a record or two that is awesome. If you have an idea of a used record you want their used section is pretty good too! My only complaint is that I wish they had a better 7" selection... it's pretty small, but their vinyl selection more than makes up for it. All in all, a great record store that deserves your support more than some idiot on ebay.

I wish I would have went with a man.......it's that kind of place. Really, you could share a plate. They give you huge portions. Velvet Margarita....I'll see you soon!!!
