The danish here taste homemade not that I know how to make a danish, but they are wonderfully light and have the taste of fresh butter. It is a simple pasty with just a small amount of cream cheese. I have not found another bakery in town that makes one as light and close to perfect as the danish at SFBC. Be warned that it is not a larger pastry so you many be tempted to eat several, which is easy if you order the bottomless cup of coffee.

I loved Pietro's! We walked here on our first night in Philly, from our Hotel in Rittenhouse Square on a very chilly night in January. The Hotel Concierge gave us many recommendations, and due to it's proximity, we chose Pietro's. From the minute we walked in, the waitstaff was extremely attentive and helpful. We asked for recommendation from their wine list and were delighted with a very tasty pinot grigio. All of the staff treated us like family. And I mean the nice way family treats you, not like you aren't a guest so you'd better get up and get it yourself type service. We ordered a pie with pepperoni, ricotta and mushrooms and it was amazing! The pepperoni has a bit of a bite to it and the coal oven provides the perfect crust. The place was crowded that night but we were able to get right in. I will defiantly go here again. The atmosphere was dim and charming and warm.

Typical Manhattan club. Didn't get a beer, but I bet they were $10 for a stupid coors lite bottle. Yes that kind of club. Though I was already drunk, I did notice the interior was nice inside, nothing too different or unique. Had fun because I was with friends from home. Definitely am going to piggy back on Jane I's comment about the $75 credit card minimum. It is pretty whack. I ordered 6 shots of vodka and it came out to $60. And it was perfect because I had exactly $60 cash on me. So you know what Providence gets for having a ridiculous credit card minimum? No tip for the bartender! :) Maybe that's why they're so rude...
