by Daryl Bosserman on I wanna give this place more stars, but the music F'ed it up for me. My friends and I got there pretty early because we heard the line gets pretty long.... we got there a little too early. The decor is pretty nice when you walk in. Upstairs the DJ was spinnin house and techno, downstairs (which looked like a cave) was hip hop and reggae, but when 12:00 rolled around the DJ stopped the hip hop and played some shit I couldn't see myself dance to. The upstairs STAYED EMPTY... I didnt see very many people dancing up there, just a good handful of folks. Downstairs got pretty dead after the DJ stopped playin the "good stuff". If you're a smoker, I suggest you head towards the smoking section from DOWNSTAIRS! I swear it'll make you feel like you're in an Indiana Jones movie! they have a snack table near the smoking exit.. i think they serve hotdogs... but i wouldnt trust it oh.. and the bouncers/ sercurity were decent. they're not assholes like the ones at 181 =P
by Marco S. on I had the best lunch here today. We got a great table on the patio outside, under a canopy of beautiful leafy trees. The margaritas are sensational; made with real lime juice, not that syrupy cuervo crap. I ordered a prosciutto pizza and it was amazingly good; fresh ingredients, leafy, fresh sauce. The bar itself is gorgeous and the layout is entertaining. There are a number of bars around every new corner, so the place stays vibrant, since if you're bored, you just move onto the next bar. I'll always come meet you at the Park for a drink.
