Nice spot. Who ever was their decorator, they did an awesome job. Crooked mirros, dimmed lights, leather booths, cool long bar and a nice fireplace. I digged the look. Food, we ordered the surf and turf, crab cakes, shrimp scampi and a dozen oysters. Oysters were big and delicious. The rest of our food was simplistic, but just right. It wasn't flavors that was out of this world, but more ordinary and acceptable. Pricing was great too. The total bill after tip and two more ice teas was $90.00. Here's the thing though. It was Mother's day and they only had one server. Um, was that a smart decision on their part? Then a large family seated in the back had children from the corn. They were out of control and ran all over the place. Falling, going into the DJ booth messing around and it was annoying. The parents just sat back and sipped wine while the kids did whatever they wanted. Fine examples of parents, I think not. What was worse was, later one of the kids brought in their puppy and couldn't control it. It jumped on my mom during dinner. The boy did apologize politely, but still, not appropriate. The restaurant should of kept them in check. If the service and kids were nicer, I would of given it a better rating. Oh well, but would still go back for the oysters for sure.
