by Krishanu R. on I went here on a thursday night with a group of mostly chicks, and we did an online reservation to get on to the "guest list". Once we got there however we had to stand in line for over 2 hours and they still weren't letting us in claiming that even though we received a confirmation email THAT guest list was not the list being allowed in yet. The bouncer kept telling us we'd be let in in 20 minutes-- we waited from 10pm to 12:30am and we finally gave up and went elsewhere. in short, I'm sure it's a nice club and all, but unless you know someone who can get you in, you aren't gonna get it, so don't waste your time with this place.
by Laura H. on Ok, I think Six Feet Under has enough good reviews - that's actually why I decided to try it! I always imagined a menu full of fried seafood (not exactly in my dietary plan at the moment), but I checked out their site and was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of healthy options. It was a nice night so we sat on the upper deck. We sat right on the edge, kind of like a bar, looking over Oakland Cemetery and the city. It was a really great dinner spot. I had scallops and shrimp cooked in parchment paper and couldn't resist trying the accompanying jalapeno hush puppies. It was so worth it! With tons of drinks and 420 on tap, I couldn't have picked a better spot to ring in the warm weather.
