by Fern Shirai on Warning...I am not a burger person! I do not love burgers and I do not look for new burger joints to open up. I still haven't been to Five Guys! So when I say this is the best burger I've ever had, please take it with a grain of salt. BUT...the Delux is the BEST burger I have ever had. Honestly, it had me at gruyère cheese! Everything is perfect on this burger. It's non-traditional and I love it! And can I please get an AMEN on the sweet potato fries! I have tried soo many sweet potato fries at other restaurants hoping they will be as good as these and I have yet to find any. I have no idea what they do with these fries, maybe they fry them in sugar oil, I have no idea what makes them great, but you MUST get an order of them! Yes, they are busy and the place is small and loud! I've always gotten excellent service. They have a great beer selection...they even have my favorite, Hoegaarden! And for that reason alone I would give them 5 stars!
by Andre N. on been here a total of 2 times and each time i enjoyed myself ...they did try to charge us but we ...argued why were to be free and that we on the gueslist ..nonetheless we got in free the Dj did try to please everyone the place is huge .lol i get confused in there ..DRINKS are expensive i think that regurlar for nyc no.... like 12.00 hennesy and gingerale ....7.00 beers best night i have ever had here ...
by Cher Gaiter on I wasn't expecting much from the food, but goodness, this place has AMAZING gumbo. My boyfriend is from Louisiana and even HE thought it was some of the best he's had. Maybe we stopped in on a good night? Sorry to those who got sick or didn't enjoy their food! I don't really like the fact that you have to pay to go downstairs and listen to live music, but if it supports the bands, sure why not. We really like this place and it's on our must-visit list when we're in town.
