I had high expectations for this restaurant, however, to summarize our experience with their food was quite disappointing. As starters we had the Crispy Calamari, the Salmon Sashimi and the Avocado and Radish salad. The sashimi was ok, although the salmon seemed to sit a little to long in the ginger marinade. The salad was pretty good also to start with, topped with some flavorful onion rings. Our biggest disappointment of the evening was the Calamari. It seemed drenched in batter and not fried well, so when I bit into the bigger pieces, I would taste raw batter. We thought first that there is a cheese filling maybe that we missed in the menu, but checking with our waitress she confirmed it's batter only and that it wasn't cooked well, however, she took no other action other than taking away our half-eaten appetizer. For entree, we had the Cod with Malaysian Chili sauce, which was the highlight. We both liked it a lot. We also had the fried rice and the duck curry. The fried rice, topped with fried egg and fried ginger-garlic was a good execution for a fried rice, but the curry was also below average, the duck was overcooked and dry, the sauce quite boring. I don't think I will give this place another chance with so many much better Asian flavors Atlanta has to offer.

I went to Le Cercle with mixed feelings last night, but it turned out a lot better than I thought. I went with a group of 13 girls and was able to get 2 free tables. Each promo table came with a small bottle of crown (watered down, but eh.... I'm glad it was to get rid of the strong, undesirable taste), a fruit plate, 3 bottles of water and a pitcher of coke. I heard the waiters can be aggressive with pulling girls to tables of guys. And I guess they were, somewhat. They do ask you and pull you away by your arm. But if you're persistent and keep saying no, they won't force you. I had a waiter who came up to me 3 times throughout the night trying to get me to go with him to a table. I was consistent, so I guess he finally got it after the third time. Waiters don't pull girls from the dance floor. They either grab you when you're sitting down at your table, or when you're walking around on the floor. I was grabbed a few times while I was on my way to the restroom and back to my table. A few of the girls from my group were booked willingly and had a pretty good time. Turns out that the guys aren't so bad. They had pretty decent conversations, and of course... some awkward moments. But either way, the girls were all treated nicely by the guys. Le Cercle is a good place for girls night-out where you just want to hang out with the girls and dance the night away. I'm saying this because they give free tables to girls and most importantly, no guys coming on to you when you simply want to dance with your girl friends. I don't have to constantly save my friends from a bunch of weirdos. That's another plus. I suppose it really depends on what you're looking for in a club, but Le Cercle certainly works for me. But why 4 stars instead of 5? Well, it's a club... can it be as good as it gets, ever?

I went there for a friend's birthday party and thought the lay out was a bit strange but glad they remodeled it. Sat down and waited 30 minutes for service --then got that service only to wait another 20 minutes for a drink. When I got the warm ( not by choice) drink, the waitress had no idea what the drink cost. This being one of their signature drinks. After she tried to over charge me we cleared up the price issue and took a sip of this "signature" drink. Not good, I'm afraid. Now in defense of the poor cocktail waitress, she was really sweet and totally in the weeds. There were so many people there with only that waitress and one, yes one bartender. So one can understand that really the crappy drink was not her fault nor the slow service times. So the complaint goes to the manager. Clearly not experienced.
