I've been to Spice Market a few times and it is located at the W hotel in midtown right below the nightclub. If you don't like loud music while eating this is not the place for you. The food is overall OK but not spicy enough for my taste. I was expecting more from a Jean Georges restaurant. Service tends to be slow even though the restaurant is not busy. If you're expecting a true Jean Georges experience, this is not the place to go.

Went here last night (Friday April 10th) on a recommendation from a friend who saw an ad for this spot in LA Weekly. I was skeptical so I ventured onto the interweb to consult good ol' rateclubs.. & sure enough the plethora of positive reviews did my group of about 8-10 justice. We were looking for a 'chill' place to get some cheap & good drinks ( $5 margaritas!!! that are not weak) as well as good atmosphere and this place met all our criteria. Not necessarily "crackin" if thats what you're looking for but you definitely will not be disappointed. My friends and I will be returning indefinitely. Check this place out. Oh yeah.. the DJ was AWESOME. No b.s. radio jams, good older rock & soul selections. Definitely a major plus. This place looks pretty awesome inside too. Go here.

The eyes of Texas are upon you, all the livelong day... A Texas Exes bar, what more could you ask for? Texas v. Nebraska game: 23 seconds left and they get a backup and first time kicker, Ryan Bailey, setting up for field goal. Just as his leg swings back, the cable goes black, luckily he kicked a 22-yard field goal to lead the Longhorns to a 22-20 victory over the Cornhuskers in a Big 12 showdown. Other than that mishap, the bar food is what it is, greasy, grubbin' and relatively good bar food. Note: duck for cover, if the bartender yells out "We're out of Shiner!" Get here early or else you might have to stand near the other team's fans. O Who? Give em hell, give em hell, make em eat $***!
