by Jonathan A. on Feels ancient. Lots of old equipment -- appearing out of a mad scientist's laboratory -- is here and there are still old brick walls. It is super cold and has a musty smell in the older downstairs. I was coughing a little because of how thin the air was combined with that smell (led paint? I would hope not...). The location is convenient but I don't like using rusty outdated tools. Feels more like a history museum than a gym.

Good for groups to hang, but it does get very crowded, making it difficult to snag any of the chairs/sofas near the window or fireplace. And if want privacy from the standing crowd, the other seats and tables should do the trick (sitting there, you do feel isolated). They stop serving desserts (chef's combination will feed 2-4 peeps, Lambic float, excellent) at 10pm though, which is too early. And parking is a problem. Down to 3.5 stars then.
