This place is super poppin. Great place to dance, socialize, and generally be amongst the beautiful people. The door policy is strict, so its not always easy to get in. Buying bottle service definitely expedites this process but isnt really worth it in the end. I love going to places like this but often the hassle, money and b.s. aren't worth it. I loved the decor and the music, and it was definitely a great looking and fun upscale crowd. Much better than Blvd. 3 or Playhouse in terms of level of classiness. Would definitely come here if it werent a huge pain in the ass to get in.

the piano thing downstairs is alright.... upstairs is a totally different scene. small bar, ultra loud music, and the tiniest dancefloor known to man not much to look at either..... all and all, i dont know what the hype is about Tavern....its OKAY, but nothing special, at all

This is a cute little place near the dome but my back is still hurting from the stools with no backs that we had to sit on all night to eat our dinner. We were having a graduation dinner for my sister and we couldn't even bring a cake in because there would have been a $2 per person cutting fee, even if we cut the cake ourselves. The food was not great at all, they have this gouda macaroni and cheese that may be an acquired taste that apparently I haven't acquired yet. The chicken strips were good but it's sad that I go to a "food lounge" and I don't want anything but chicken strips that I can get anywhere. The dessert that I tasted was the German chocolate cake and there didn't seem to be any cake, all I tasted was nuts. It was freezing cold, everyone had to keep their coats on all night. It's Winter, why is the air on? To finish it off, we had a big party of about 20 people, they don't even do separate checks, and you have to use one payment method. They really need to get with the program.
