Saturday morning, after "a night out on the town", we popped into Sily City Diner for some breakfast.  Walking up the steps, we saw the familiar booths on one side and those spinning round shape chairs at the counter on the other side.  In fact, there may have even been a jukebox there, but don`t hold me to it. With that being said, the food is quite a bit better than your ordinary diner.  Even basic bacon and egg plates have a piece of some interesting fruit on the side to make it more interesting, and it is all delicious.  Lunch and dinner are something that I will have to try here one day when I make it back to Philly.  And some beer, since they serve great local craft beer such as Yards and Sly Fox and carry others such as Bells !!!

i'm a HUGE fan of brunch. after attending a wedding the night before, and discovering that the hotel restaurant was packed with everybody else from the wedding, a friend suggested the moshulu. i'm grateful that he did. first off, it's a four-course brunch for $35. (they add tip and taxes so it really comes out to about $45 a person.) included are mimosas, kir royales, bellinis, and coffee/tea. the first two courses, breads and salads/soups, are served buffet-style. i'll be honest when i overloaded on the salads. the entree is chosen from a menu of about 12 items. i went with the steak and eggs, which was served ranchero style with guacamole. YUM. i wish i could have finished it! BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! dessert buffet. white chocolate fountain. dark chocolate fountain. assorted cakes (cheesecakes, flourless chocolate, tiramisu), cookies, and sweets. mini creme brulees and chocolate mouses. i forced myself to get dessert, not only to get my $45 worth, but because it all looked so good. it didn't help that they put the dessert buffet near the front door so i eyed my treats on the way in. loved every bite, even though i definitely overate.
