by Stephanie Q. on I thought that this place had both salsa and hip hop music, but the night I went... it was only salsa! And no, I don't really know how to Latin dance. I attempted really bad bachata (thankfully my friend was an expert and taught me the basic steps). I noticed that I was the youngest person in the entire club. Everyone looked like they were married and had kids. And drinks cost $10 in such a crappy club. $10!! You must be out of your mind. Make sure you get on the guestlist, which you can do online on their website, so you don't have to pay $10 for the cover.
by Gina M. on Awesomeness. This place does several of small but important things right which earns them a title of super-star! So, let's break it down for ya... 1. Good drink selection at reasonable prices (for the area they're in.) They even have Lambic Framboise girly beer that I love ever so much. 2. Good bar food. Try their mac and cheese or those Spinach Empanadillas -- they're like the best mini hot pockets you've ever tried 4. Wireless. In a bar. You + internet + beer and munchies = bliss 5. Good ambiance and decent music selection 6. Long hours of operations as the place transforms from a coffee shop to a sandwich place to a happy hour spot to a club Are there other places in the city that have some of these things readily available? Absolutely. Are there other places that got ALL of these things going on for them? I have not seen too many yet. High-five!
by Wyatt Gulinson on never a dull time, always fun. very festive interior with a japanese mod style theme. gotta love the tunnel walkway opening up to the unexpectedly huge space, it definitely gets you in the mood to shake your thang. women swing on scarves from the ceiling when the night gets bumpin. great music and a mixed crowd, mingling atmosphere with lots of intermittent seats throughout. good to be on the guestlist.
