by sona c. on I was introduced to Tahcha at an event they catered. The food and tea were both very good so I decided to check out their space but never quite made it there. Then one night, I was pleasantly surprised to find it by accident after having my nails done. It was in the same shopping center. As soon as I arrived, I loved it, They had comfortable seating for those who wanted to linger and a bar for those who wanted to try the teas but not quite in the mood for socializing. I tried the Indian Spice and my friend tried a specialty tea that was similar to the Aveda Soothing tea. We both loved our teas. We also were pleasantly surprised by how good the sweet potato cake was. I would highly recommend any one who likes tea and tasty treats to check it out!
by A.m.y. R. on On this Friday night, the music was a-ok. In the front room, they played a mix of top 40, 90s, and pop. The back room was devoted to more hip hop. Overall, good DJs. They 'get' the crowd, which was good sized. Lolz at the giant mirror in the front room. Half the time, people are running into it thinking it's the entrance to the other room. Hahaha...smudge marks all over the glass by the end of the night. ps: the other room is about 3 feet to your left. ; ) The other half, folks are checking themselves out while they bust a move. :D
