by Travis M. on This place is great! Not quite as good as Yophoria but pretty damn close! It has a very similar set up with a wall of self serve froyo and then a buffet bar of toppings ranging from healthier fruits to ground up ressee's cups. Much like other self serve places you pay by the ounce.
by A H. on I live stepping distance from this place. I've been here a handful of times and EVERY time someone in my group has had a bad experience with the baldy bartender "Matthew?" It didn't surprise me one bit to see other postings complaining about the same person. It's bad enough the drinks are ridiculously pricey but when the service sucks, the whole experience sucks . The last straw was last night. I come in with a couple of girlfriends. Ordered 2 house wines and a beer. When the lady bartender handed me my check I asked for a break down of the bill. A pretty fair request, right? WRONG! Mr. baldy bartender aggressively butts in and says "what's the problem?" "Well sir, there is no problem other than me inquiring about my check." I discovered they don't offer house wines. Well, geez, wouldn't it be nice to know that when I ordered? Maybe then I could have actually chosen my wines instead of having the bartender choose them for me. It was nice of her to pick the expensive ones. OK, so she was new so I had no problem with her. But baldy dude has no class, ripped up the bar bill in a tantrum-like manner and went off at the mouth. If you know me I'm pretty laid back and let things roll off like water off a duck's back. Not last night. No no no. Gave the snobby bartender a piece of my mind. He then grabbed the beer out of my hand, in a manner of a 3 year old child. Even felt bad for the lady bartender and tried to tip her $10 bucks. Mr. knucklehead told her to give it back after she accepted it. Guess his ego couldn't take it. My friend and I let him know he was a joke. After talking to the owner, Gina and explaining the problem all she could say was "I've known him for 16 years." I'm sorry to hear that but not a very wise business decision to keep him on board. Silly really, cause what happens next is the reviews about your service will be wide-spread and your establishment will certainly suffer from it. Bottom line: BAD SERVICE. If you like being "serviced" by a slimy bald arrogant prick, by all means check this place out. If you like over-priced drinks and pretentious folks this is the place for you.
