by Eddie K. on Went to this club for the first time this past Superbowl weekend for a friends birthday. Parking was free in the adjacent Bank of America parking (which is great) but since we arrived after 10:30 PM, we had to pay $10 cover. No biggie. Upon walking inside, you are greeted with a bunch of small monitors showing an array of channels ranging from news to sports. You walk up the stairs to your left and there are framed pictures of celebrities. These stairs lead you to the main dance floors and bars. I went directly to our VIP table area, which was spacious and elevated, and gave a birds eye view of the entire dance floor. The sound system was decent and it was fairly easy to maneuver through the sea of people. After getting a few in me, I decided to explore the other parts of the establishment. I really only made it to the bathroom, which had washroom attendants (which i HATE) and got some drinks at the bar directly outside. People say drinks are cheap here but I think they were priced about right. I liked how they had big screen TV's everywhere and I was told there are beer pong tables, darts, shuffle boards, etc, but personally did not see them. All in all, it seemed like a hip spot to be during the weekends. I personally ran into friends I had not seen in a good while, which again, is great. I had a wonderful time and I would go back again. Oh yeah, THEY MAKE THEIR DRINKS FAT. I asked for a fatty Henny, bartender nearly filled up the glass, each and every time. Thumbs up to that.
by John S. on This place has some of the top burgers in Atlanta. It's a modern burger "boutique", so you do see some people in dressy outfits, but also a lot in just casual attire. The atmosphere inside is mostly modernistic, and there's also a small patio seating area which is nice for when it's warm put Kilroy is now. As for the food: Flip has extremely succulent burger dishes and delicious milkshakes.the burgers are cooked to perfection just like you'd like it, and the milkshakes are pretty much the best I've ever had; they make them with liquid nitrogen and usually when they bring it it's still evaporating. It's a great effect, and of course this process makes the milkshake taste awesome. My only real complaints are the portions: the dishes are tiny, and so is the milkshake. It's probably not a bad idea to have a snack or small meal before coming and then just enjoy the atmosphere food for its taste and atmosphere since you likely won't be full after you finish. Another issue for me is the waiting , but I understand why such a long wait is necessary here. It is after all a pretty small lace.
by Sherly Darwish on This bar totally sucks. Overpriced drinks for starters. Then the people who go there suck even worse. Bunch of cocky-for-no-reason average looking females trying to manipulate guys into buying them drinks so they can go home with their right hand, gold diggers, and lilly metrosexuals spending 10 mins in the mirror in the bathroom fixing their hair who feed into their game. And I was just trying to celebrate my friends birthday... I'm sitting there, see some poor guy getting asked buying drinks for a group of 3 girls which he complies (which left him 5 mins after he did so). I felt bad thought it was funny though cause he just got scammed up. Until 10 mins later a girl that looked like grimace (McD's) just approaches me out of the blue "Hi, its my birthday" I go and congradulate her give her a hug etc then she hits me immediately with "you should buy me and all my friends drinks", when i said "umm no i dont even know you" to which caused her and her 3 friends jaws to drop. Then i asked why they had marti gras beads on which they said "oh we were at a bachelorette party" hmmmm yes a birthday/bachlorette party riiight. As they went away got called a "F'n bastard" cause i wouldn't play into their scam. I went downstairs to the dance area about an hour later to check it out, said hi to this girl and the same damn thing happens! Something is with this place it can't be a coincidence. Reminded me of those bums that beg for money walking up to you car off exit 18 without you asking. But at least some of them do work with squeegies for what they earn. Someone i was with who knows the area and the bars, she told us that in this bar a lot of girls come in with 10 bucks and come out with 10 if ya catch the drift. I suggest you watch out here guys and if you are a girl reading this you probably dont want the kind of guy that a place like this would attract.
