I love Terra. My husband and I own a catering company in the bay area and have worked with venues all over. What I love most about working with Terra is that they are always flexible and creative. They allow us to do our job by handling the details with ease. They have a fabulous space that works well for weddings and corporate events. The space is also a blank slate to paint on. Dusty is wonderfully creative and helpful to his clients on all levels. Thank you Terra for doing such an outstanding job and creating a perfect venue for our clients. Your friends at Devoted

First off, there's a $20 cover. Most clubs do, but $20, even for ladies, is stupid. Secondly, the bartenders suck. The ones on the corner and upper seating area are alright, but the ones by the far wall are terrible. Buying drinks at a bar is a simple exchange: I pay a 1500% inflated mark-up on a beverage and tip you an extra buck or two because you shoved your cleavage in my face. Instead, you wore a fleece pullover because it was cold. Do your job. Show me your cleavage. I'll give you a dollar. Cocktails are tiny and beer selection is very narrow. The crowd at clubs is typicall hit or miss, but this time I struck out looking. I know the brothers like the big girls, but not my cup of tea. Other nights it's Asian night, the next it's wear-your-Versace-shades-indoors night. It's totally my fault, though. I don't like clubs but I still go (albeit for friends' birthdays). Hiro isn't a hero. You know who's a real hero? Hiro. From Heroes.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place.  The bar was a pretty hellish spot but once you get your drinks there's tons of seating.  Three of my friends and I had no trouble finding a table on the boat (one of the boats? A barge? I don't know. It was floating and large.) and we were there late in the afternoon on a Saturday. The drinks aren't too expensive - I think my beer was six bucks and sangria is eight. I'd definitely come back here.  Maybe not to stay for the whole night but it's a cool place to come for a drink and then move onward.  Or you could roll like the people sitting next to us and binge drink beforehand.  There was so much cell phone drama, let me tell you.  Anyway.
