by cm g. on Oh come on people! Lets be fans! Maybe its not in its heyday but, seriously, I felt a bit let down by my rateclub family in only giving this spot an average 3 stars. I think it all depends on the night you attend and the crowd. I went first on a Tuesday night which only boasts a three course dinner, mostly for the frugal minded attendee. The fare is served in creativeware (you'll see), and though the three courses were fairly interesting and I am sure ever changing, the floor and aerial show was entertaining with a crowd that was willing to participate in the evenings festivities. Staff was very accommodating to dietary restrictions and I expected a bit of diva attitude, thats ok. Excuse me, if you don't like lounging in a bed, barefooted and eating? Then this spot is not for you. However, if you are semi-adventurous than go and have a good time, don't be a stuffy ol' food critic... just enjoy yourself. The beer garden out back is AMAZING..you forget you're in Philadelphia! Inside, the place is full of artwork and fabulous parties. If you need a fun spot any day of the week...Silk City is the place!
by Natalie Freidin on I really like this place. They give you a really big salad and the pizza is yummy even though the toppings are too expensive. I just wanted to review the place after I saw that another customer said that they treated handicapped people unfairly. I wish Pietro's had more outdoor seating, but what can you do? My dad came to visit when my rowing team was here about a year ago, and he has some pretty serious speech and balance disabilities because of a brain injury. He went up to the hostess on a busy Saturday night and explained that we were visiting from out of town, and they were very accommodating to him and to the rest of the group. They seated us quickly and the service was great, considering our big group. I hope this clears the air for anyone who was concerned about the service at this location.
