by John N. on Went there on the first Sat of the month. First time at this place so decide to arrive before Happy Hour (selective drinks only) ended 11pm. A friend knew the promoter which got us in quickly so thats a plus. Saved me $20. Pros: Upstairs dance floor is one of the bigger ones in the city. Great vibe with the whole club dancing. Cons: Location Location Location, parking can be a pain. Younger crowd and don't expect it to be diverse. Majority asian. Music was So-So upstairs, expected more hip hop instead of mixing the songs short. Would go again for the big dance floor but wouldn't be my first choice.

by Bertram Suto on I like to go to this place because it's entertaining and the bouncer, Tony, is the man and is probably the most polite person there. I like the semi classy goth/dark brothel motif. Different. Also, one of the main reasons I like going there is because I see a lot of familiar faces, although it is mostly the young professional bar-hopping crowd. It does feel like the Vegas club of SF. This means all the advantages and disadvantages that comes with a small vegas club. It will be hard to get drinks. The 1 bar on the 1st floor is crowded. Harlot has 2 stories. The 2nd level is the VIP section. I threw a party in the VIP section once, it has white leather-like couches and tables with a full-body picture of some sexy model. The service is ok, not especially friendly. There is a smoking room behind some iron bars conveniently located in the bar so thats a plus for the smokers. It does get crowded. I guess it is one of those places where if you are single and ready to mingle then its the perfect meat-market for you, but if you just want to enjoy some good music and converse with some laid-back people that are not mostly trying to get some action that night, then you may want to try another place. ..maybe the Mission bars =)
