RESTAURANT ONLY!!! In a nutshell: Food: 2 stars Service: 4 stars P/C: 3 stars It's a 3 star restaurant at best, at best.  If it were just for food, it'd be a two star restaurant at best - but the service and the ambiance made up for it.  We went here on a Sunday night before the Time For Three show and wanted to grab a bite.  We got two different kinds of rolls and a tempura and a wagy beef "sushi"  All of the dishes were pretty disappointing.  The fish quality used in the rolls was pretty poor, it definitely looked like they were being stingy with the quantity and the quality of the fish.  I'd say sushi is 90% about how fresh the raw ingredients are - and in that regard, the rolls failed big time. The wagyu sushi was a okay - it's just a fancied up version of a piece of turnip and a piece of beef drizzled with teriyaki sauce.  The tempura was less than average - the flavors were there, but the tempura was cold.  Negative my friend, negative. The service was pretty good and the sake selection was pretty streamlined (which is very helpful).  The interior was also very chic and spacious. The restaurant part of Yoshi's has a long way to go before it can call itself a japanese restaurant because it just ain't with the crappy food it puts on people's plates...

This place sucks and will rip you off. My husband ordered my girlfriend and I 3 leg spreaders, a pink drink (thats the name), a pineapple vodka and 2 buttery nipples. Could not taste alcohol in any of them and NEVER got a buzz. THey ripped us and didnt do full shots. The total was 45.00 and we were told you had to add a tip before so he said make it even 50.00 for a 5.00 tip. we got our bank statement and they charged us 65! that is 20 over our total. I am pissed. This plus sucks, its nasty, no music, waitress sucks. NOT A GOOD PLACE!! Pay a door fee and go somewhere that wont rip you

I've been to Medjool about 4 times and every experience is different. One night I'm having to pay $10 to a rude bouncer and I walk into a complete dead-zone. Another night I'm having the time of my life -- dancing to some great hip-hop & top 40 music. Honestly, it's tough to rate a club like Medjool because every experience is so vastly different. There are a few things that are pretty standard every time I come: (1) the drinks, (2) the music, and (3) the people. The drinks are always pretty strong, which is awesome, but they do run up a high tab, especially for being in the Mission. Medjool is not an upscale club, so they shouldn't charge drinks like one. The music is always good -- if you're into mainstream hip hop and Top 40 hits. I love hip hop and Top 40, so I always have a great time dancing and listening to some Lil' Jon and Pitbull. On my most recent visit, two friends and I hung out on the couches on the mezzanine level -- just drinking and chatting, with some great music playing in the background. It was awesome. The people are always strange. The dance floor is filled with what looks like either newbie college kids who just turned 21 or with older people who don't really dance on the dance floor, they kind of just sway. I always see random costumes and crazy clothing -- I guess that's cool as long as they're having fun. Let's just say you probably won't pick a significant other out of this bunch. The roof is okay -- way too crowded. It's worth checking out for about 2 minutes, and then you're probably better off on the mezzanine. As I said before -- Medjool will bring some great times and also bring some not so great times. But at least it has one thing going for it: it's never going to be horrible. And that's why I keep coming back.

Very fun bar with lots of pool tables, great jukebox, large bar, friendly staff, and karaoke on weekends.

I actually don't like sushi.  I don't like seafood at all except for crab. But I love my wife, who does love sushi and seafood.   So I took her to this place for her birthday. So i can't really describe the quality of the sushi, but i know my wife was savoring each piece.  She got the Sushi and Sashimi combo plate, which had a lot.  She was especially happy that there was 2 yellowtail pieces on the plate, and one young yellowtail. The chef did come over and talk to us a little bit.  He mentioned that the pork they have is barley fed pork (cause i got the katsu don). We were also impressed that the crab stick and the california roll that i got was real crab and not the fake stuff other places use. Pricey, but very good.
