Came here to celebrate my girlfriends birthday, and there is no better place in downtown for a large group! you know why??? NO COVER! Skip the clubs with obnoxious top 40 blaring in your ears, to the best of my knowledge there is always silent movie projections going, a DJ playing mixes of jazz, funk, fusion etc. Formal attire is required to enter. There will be spontaneous cabaret performances throughout the night! Only downside is reservations are expensive, but worth it if you don't want to stand around. Either way there is a great time to be had in this underground power plant bar! So surprised I never heard of it before!

Wow I see I wasn't the first person to visit this place (300+ reviews dang..)LOL! Finally after hearing about Flip Burger from friends and other sources, I finally decided to check it out last night with a friend. Nice atmosphere, patio seating was interesting at first but i got used to it after a while. I ordered the Po Boyger (Shrimp Burger) and I really enjoyed it. Very tasty with a hint of a New Orleans kick in there + I got an order of onion rings. The onion rings were just OK...kind of greasy tasting to me. The friend I was with really enjoyed onion rings and she ordered a Turkey Burger with bacon and cheese. I only gave the place 3 stars because Ive been to burger joints where I couldnt wait to return. If I go back to Flip Burger then okay...if I don't...then okay. Its a great place to meet up with friend that unpretentious (which can be hard to find in the A). The drink menu looks delicious and if I do go back I plan to try the Nutella Milkshake.

Very cool, laid back bar in the west village. It's an excellent place to do some cheap outdoor drinking before heading to any of he clubs in the area. I always hit up Ear Inn before going to Don Hills.
