by karen s. on Very cool place! When we first arrived I was a little nervous because of the shakiness of the boat. I was not sure if that would mix well with alcohol and wedge shoes (which is advice that I got from a rateclubser before going). On a weeknight, when there is a breeze and the weather is beautiful this is the place to be!!! It is a self serve location, so you have to find your own tables/seats, order your drinks from a bar, as well as any food. There is NO SERVICE! Which was my only complaint when I arrived a very crowded Saturday evening and had to keep and eye out for over 30 minutes for a table. The seasoned old-bay fries are delicious! GREAT place to watch the sun set!!!
by Liz C. on Why would anyone go to the Ramp when the place next door is sunny, less crowded, classier, better view, food, drinks and about the same price? I have been here twice and loved both visits. The first time was an impressive brunch, the scramble was delicious and the bloody marys' excellent. The second time we had a small party and they were amazing!!!! First off they only serve food until 3. but, I called ahead and they offered to make us appetizers for our party of 12 at 4:15. I told them the price and what we were thinking, and they were very accommodating. They made us a yummy cheese plate, freshly made chips and salsa, and these yummy mini burgers and chicken. Far exceeding our expectations at the exact cost I requested. Plus, my friends only drank water and the bartender and wait staff didn't even blink, they were so nice and friendly. Highly recommend this place for brunch, parties or an afternoon drink in the sun.
