by Amar P. on This place looks like a total dive from outside, but we went in today while waiting for a bus, and it's surprisingly swank! Tasteful red lighting & no super-loud music = good spot to hang out. It's a restaurant inside, but they were nice enough to let us sit there without eating anything. Oh and the coolest part was, this guy was doing an art exhibit there. He had up a bunch of creepy photos of abandoned mental institutions. It sounds cheesy but they were actually quite good. The one showing all these toothbrushes with names on them, hanging in front of a dingy wall, was my favorite. The bar was so dark that I had to grab a candle from a table and hold it up to the photographs to see. I felt like an archaeologist.
