by Corvus C. on I like Mighty. Crowd is a good mix of what SF has to offer from mellow music lovers, to hipsters and to bro bra bro's. The energy is mellow and they had a good lineup the night we went. I'd definitely go back as long as the event was interesting. Good times.
by Brian P. on A colleague had his going away party here. 8 of us stood in line for over an hour. The bouncer formed 2 lines. We were in one, the other was for his friends and anyone willing to pay him $20 a head to get in (this was not the cover charge!). I don't care if people palm a bouncer some cash to skip a line, but this flagrant abuse made me sick and I refused to give in. Our coworker eventually came out to see what was going on. He informed us that the place was 1/2 empty-the bouncer must have made a killing. We were not allowed in without paying the extra "fee". Eventually we all left. In addition, we are all local Boston hotel employees! I am a doorman at an upscale downtown hotel. In the end, the bar lost as I have sent countless people away from this place after my absurd encounter. We even told the bouncer we were hotel workers. Still, our line was not allowed to move without paying the second cover charge. Moral of the story: Stay away from the Greatest Bar. And don't follow their example!
