by sarah s. on This place is freakin' amazing. I went last night for the first time and had the best clubbing experience of my life. The line was pretty long but moved quickly (which was nice for all the skanky dressers waiting to get in), the bouncers were actually friendly (wtf?!), and you didn't have to wait 5 million years to get drinks at the bar. My friends and I started off the night with AMFs ($10 but that shit was loaded) and basically spent the next 3 hours flailing ourselves around and having a fabulous time. The mash-ups are masterfully done, and it's cool to actually know all the words to every song. Although it's a pretty small venue, there's actually quite a bit of space, although that doesn't stop you from spilling your drinks all over your clothes or accidentally punching people in the face as a result of you being uncoordinated. And there's seating along the side walls so you can sit and chill for a bit if your head's spinning... Another thing is that you don't have to worry about pretentious assholes, for the most part. The dress code is pretty laid back and there weren't any uncomfortable vibes going on. You could go dressed to the nines or in just a tshirt and jeans and you'd be fine either way. All in all, an awesome experience. I will definitely be returning for many Saturdays to come.
