Came to one of those passworded pool side parties. Very neat and very bourgeois, parking is only valet (enter on Orange). && It's not your regular pool party, more like a cocktail party by the pools with live music and dancing. Loved the atmosphere of Hollywood at night. Bottle Service at the Tropicana Bar was pretty slow though (and pricey). I ordered a mojito (too minty for my taste too) & my cousin ordered red wine. The waitress took so long, so we got up and left and she hunted us down ! haha, we wanted to walk Hollywood Blvd, but security didn't let us take it outside. But it was a pretty fun night :) except for the slow service

Jersey crowd in the mix, much like Bleu & Mad River, this place is known for its glitz and glamour (much more the people then the decor) Everyone thinks they are somebody/wants to be someone... Ull be standing in a line for about 30 minutes and once u get in ull see what all hype is about.......NOTHING. Totally not my scene, i guess thats why ill never go again, but if ur into that whole pretending like you have money and live in West Hollywood, then i would settle for this spot....bring lots of cash cause they will rape u blind with the water-downed drinks OH...on a saturday night, if u come earlly....they will be spinning some nice mainstream dance/house music...be aware that this last for about an hour then its immediatley into the top-40/hip-hop zone.... typical

A good place to go for dancing...they place house/electronic music there. Got 3 different rooms which is nice. I would rate this place higher for either a dance club/concert venue, but I've been here twice for promoter parties and it's just not the right crowd for it. The place is pretty dirty, parking is $25 (yes, $25), and cover was $20 when I went. They need to do some inside revamping with the decor. The bar is so-so...not too great. I would love to go back here to see some good Dj's though.
