Expected this place to be super hipster and way over-priced. Surprisingly, it was REASONABLE for the portion you get. I had a grilled chicken sandwich that was super delicious with melted cheeses, caramelized onions, and a crispy prosciutto and a side of fries for $9. The ambiance was really cool, and the staff was pretty standard. I would come back to get a drink perhaps. I am not really into getting mixed drinks but I have heard great reviews. I still haven't been to a show here or a dance party but I've been told it is predominantly men that attend those. I'll be back for that sandwich but I want to try another item for sure. Thumbs up!

Good food, crazy prices. If you in Atlantic Station and don't want to leave but you're craving a little latin spice in your stomach, this is the one spot for you. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the ambiance is nice. The problem? It'll cost you. Guac made tableside shouldn't be $12, especially when one can purchase avocados for $1 a piece at the store. The rest of the menu is delicious, but will leave your wallet begging you to find a place equally as good but costing less. You can get a pomegranate margarita here which I'm told is fantastic... unfortunately, I didn't feel like selling an unborn child to get one. If you can't get out of Atlantic Station and want Mexican, you're stuck with this - hope your wallet can handle the chaos. If you can leave... head to the nearby Nuevo Laredo. It's cheap, it's awesome, and the only tears you'll shed are tears of joy. I'll give this place 3 stars because it certainly isn't bad, but you can quickly figure out how this chain stays afloat - they're making a killing on the food alone. I'm scared to know what they make on the desserts and drinks...

The Varsity is not the best hamburger joint I've ever been to, but it's definitely worth a visit.  The fries are good, the onion rings are huge, and the look of the place is pretty neat.  The burgers have a good variety and are tasty, albeit small for the price.  I was disappointed with the chili cheese dog - I expected more moist chili...the chili I received looked and felt like ground beef. Definitely worth a look, but if you're in Atlanta your best bet for the ultimate burger and fries is Five Guys.
