by Chris C. on I went to Medjool for dinner and chose it because of the view that the sky deck provides. Any day that the city is remotely warm and clear is worth stopping by up there. It started to get cold earlier than we expected, but the heat lamps were already on when we got there so it wasn't too bad. That said, if you're going to be on the roof after sundown, be sure to bring a jacket! The service was pretty helpful and had a bit of SF hipster attitude, which was fine. What else can you expect in the Mission? We both ordered Caipirinhas and neither was very good. Tasted like they forgot any sugar...asked for a new round with the same result. I'd stick to a safer bet like a Margarita or the like. Food was good: fries, beef skewers and stuffed grape leaves all hit the spot. I wouldn't head here if I was starving as the portions are a bit small, but definitely well cooked.
